I. Preliminary Preparation and Basic Adjustment
Take out the gyro lock and twist it open directly in your palm.
Locate the central screw rod; if it is loose or too tight, tighten it first.
Take out the wrench from the accessory bag and find its front side (the side with four screws).
II. Disassembling the Gyro Lock
After tightening the screw rod, place the gyro lock on the table, find the middle dividing line, and gently pull it apart.
After pulling it apart, you will see steel balls inside. Since the steel balls are magnetic and may adhere to the components, just shake them off gently.
III. Replacing Core Components
(1) Replacing the Bearing
Prepare the custom R188 fidget spinner bearing.
Push out the old bearing from the back with your finger or a pen (the first operation may require a little force because the bearing has an interference fit with the component).
Align the new bearing with the position and press it into place by hand.
(2) Replacing the Nail Plate
Magnetically close the original nail plate, then place it directly in the corresponding position—it will be automatically fixed by magnetic attraction.
IV. Reassembling the Gyro Lock
Put the steel balls back into the small holes one by one (this step is somewhat tedious and requires patience).
Pick up the upper cover and prepare to close it, paying attention to the following points:
The two small holes on the upper cover are not pre-installed with magnets by default, and it is not recommended for players to install them by themselves (magnetism will be greatly enhanced after installation).
The upper cover and lower cover each have a small dot.Do not place the two dots on the same side(e.g., both facing down). Rotate to adjust their positions (it is recommended that the dot on the upper cover faces forward and the dot on the lower cover faces backward) to ensure overall balance.
Align the position, gently cover the upper cover, and pinch it tightly. Check by pulling the nail plate: if the nail plate can pop out smoothly and retract by magnetic attraction, the installation is in place.
V. Final Fixing
Align the wrench with the four screws on the upper cover, tighten them one by one, and confirm that there is no obvious shaking of the whole device.
