Claire is a loyal customer of NXEDC from France. She works for a non - profit organization, and we often communicate via Email. Although we are miles apart and have never met in person, we can feel her enthusiasm and positivity.
In the middle of October this year, she and her team organized a very meaningful event for the residents of the organization, allowing everyone to share happy times and enhance their relationships. At the same time, they raised funds for the two cats in the organization (to buy cat food and pay veterinary bills).
We are very honored to be able to provide a little help for this event, which makes all the members of the NXEDC team very happy. To be honest, we sell EDC toys and earn a reasonable profit to pursue a better life. But we are delighted that our customers, together with us, have given EDC toys another meaning.
Although the influence of our website is still very weak, we still hope that through this report, more merchants or users can get involved.

In addition, I have always been satisfied with their products, their customer service, their advice, and their responsiveness. So I contacted Joe to tell him about our bingo evening event project. Joe and his colleagues were interested and offered to send us fidgets for all the participants. The Association « Les Elfes » :
The Non-profit Parental Association « Les Elfes » (in Tours / Indre et Loire / France) provides a public service mission by delegation, under the accreditation of its establishments and services. As a non-profit organization, it also assumes a representative role for people with intellectual disabilities (special needs people).
Its goal is to design, create, run, and manage establishments and services that benefit special needs people supported throughout all stages of their lives. As such, the Association reaffirms its commitment to welcoming people with disabilities with varying degrees of autonomy and developmental abilities.
Through its statutes, the Board of Directors is driven by the desire to contribute to the recognition and respect of people with disabilities.
The Association Les Elfes assumes its moral and legal responsibility towards every person it welcomes. It conducts its actions with complete philosophical, political, and religious neutrality. It is composed of volunteer parent activists and dedicated professionals. The establishments and services regularly develop with each person supported, in consultation with their parents or legal representative, a Personalized Project which constitutes their life plan.
The Residence du Colombier :
Opened in 2012, the "Résidence du Colombier" (Tours, France) offers, in addition to accommodation options (residential home or apartments), various services such as care coordination, assistance with daily living, and support for independence, social life, and health.
It welcomes special needs adults with intellectual disabilities (some of whom also have other conditions, such as schizophrenia, autism, Down syndrome, behavioral disorders, etc.). There are 55 women and men (between 20 and around 70 years old) living at the Résidence du Colombier. They are called « resident ». The Résidence du Colombier is a residential home and care home for adults with disabilities. Opened 365 days, 7/7 days and 24/24.
The support offered allows for a tailored approach to the needs and life plans of residents, limiting the risk of isolation and respecting each individual's lifestyle.
